What is Pilates and what will it do for me?
The Pilates Method was developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates and continues to be very popular amongst fitness enthusiasts, dancers and athletes to this day.
Pilates is used to build overall flexibility, muscle strength and also puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment and controlled breathing. A few of its many benefits include: developing a strong core and improving coordination and balance.
